Missing or Unidentified Person

On May 6, 1994, the remains of an unidentified Black male were discovered on the second floor of an abandoned single-family residence in Alexandria, Virginia. The Medical Examiner determined the decedent was an adult under 70, but most likely between 55 to 70 years old with an estimated height of 5 feet 7 inches and weight of 126 pounds. He had partially graying black hair with frontal balding, a mustache, and a beard. His clothing consisted of a purple T-shirt printed with “Stepping Out Downtown Blacksburg Aug. 7-8, 1987”, worn over a plain white T-shirt. The interval between death and discovery was estimated at several weeks to months; no cause of death or additional personal effects were documented.
