Missing or Unidentified Person

On September 16, 2001, authorities in Boydton, Virginia, recovered the remains of a male infant, estimated at 0–2 months old and about 1 foot 9 inches long, (21 inches) with black hair, from a public boat ramp restroom. The body showed signs of decomposition consistent with approximately five days since death. Indicators pointed to possible mixed racial/ethnic ancestry involving Hispanic/Latino, Asian, and/or American Indian/Alaska Native heritage.
