Case Details:On March 28, 2006, an unidentified Black/African American female infant was discovered in Norfolk, Virginia after a construction worker found her remains wrapped in plastic and discarded in a dumpster. The Medical Examiner estimated the postmortem interval to be approximately 24 hours. The infant had black hair and brown eyes, measured approximately 18 inches in length, and weighed about 6 pounds. The Medical Examiner determined the cause of death to be blunt force abdominal injuries with abandonment being a contributing factor and the manner of death to be homicide.
