Isabelle Rose Johnson, 38, is wanted by the Walton County Sheriff's Office in Florida for the murder of 43-year-old Jason Christopher Coulthart. Jason Coulthart, a New Jersey native survived by his 20-year-old son, parents, and younger brother, was reported missing from his home in Niceville, Florida, on May 24, 2026. His remains were discovered on June 25, 2026, in a shallow grave on a property off Sunset Lane in Freeport, Florida. Niceville Police Department originally tipped off investigators to the location; the victim's body was located and the District 1 Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed his identity through DNA testing. Johnson is described as a white woman, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes; investigators believe she may have recently cut her hair short and dyed it to alter her appearance. She has a floral tattoo on her left hand near the thumb and forefinger, an unidentified tattoo on her right ankle, and a large scorpion tattoo extending from her left buttock down her left thigh.
Authorities describe Johnson as a "master manipulator" who "disguises herself well" and is known to rely on fabricated sympathy stories — including false claims of domestic violence or personal hardship — to obtain rides, cash, phones, and shelter from strangers. She is known to use numerous aliases, including "Harley," "Oh Now," Jessica Elaine Bowman, Jessica Elaine Thrush, Jessica Elaine Thrash, Jessica Dowdy, and possibly "Denise." Five people have been arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to a capital felony for allegedly helping Johnson evade law enforcement: Bobbi Wagstaff, 31, and Martin and Sandra Leaverton, both 63, of Fort Walton Beach, arrested earlier in the investigation; and Michael Ray White, 74, and Kathleen Morris, 59, of Santa Rosa Beach, arrested about a week later. White is alleged to have knowingly helped Johnson evade law enforcement, while Morris allegedly provided transportation and supplies and misled investigators about whether Johnson had been at her home. Investigators say Johnson has ties to Florida's Okaloosa and Walton counties, Georgia's Habersham, Clarke, Carroll, and Harris counties, the city of Newnan, Georgia, and Covington and Geneva counties in Alabama; a multi-agency search has covered locations across all three states, with her current whereabouts unknown as of late July 2026. The Habersham County Sheriff's Office posted a public alert at Walton County's request, naming Habersham as an area Johnson is known to frequent, alongside other parts of North Georgia.
