David Allen Cole, a 66 year old white male, told family members he was traveling to Arizona. Mr. Cole had a history of mental health issues and being unhoused. The last time his family heard from him was December 2017, when they received mail from him postmarked Humboldt County, Nevada. At the time of his disappearance, Mr. Cole as 6'1" tall, weighed 160 pounds, and had gray hair and blue eyes.
David Allen Cole, a man in his mid-60s, was last heard from by his family on December 31, 2017, while in Humboldt County, Nevada, where he mentioned plans to travel to Arizona. With a history of transience and mental health challenges, he has long had infrequent contact with relatives, making his absence initially less alarming.
However, when family received mail postmarked from Humboldt County years later in 2024, it prompted a formal missing person report to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office. Public appeals in July 2024 described him as a 73-year-old white male, approximately 6'0" tall, 185 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. There is reason to believe he may be in Nevada, Arizona or Texas.
