NCOUC - Group 3

Missing or Unidentified Person

On April 7, 1992, partial skeletal remains of an adult male, estimated to be of biracial or mixed-race descent (possibly White, Black, and Hispanic), were discovered near a warehouse in Newport News, Virginia. The individual was believed to be between 25 and 45 years old and stood approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall. Due to the decomposed state of the remains, neither eye color nor hair color could be determined. The remains were accompanied by several articles of clothing, including a light-colored, front-button, short-sleeve shirt and light-colored boxer shorts found on the body. Nearby, investigators recovered a pair of "Jordache" blue jeans and a single black-and-white tennis shoe, size 7½.
