He was approximately 4 foot 11 inches tall, 85 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, a slight gap between front teeth, small birthmarks above left eyebrow and right side of neck, light moles on cheek and nose, and a scar under lower lip. Last seen wearing a red San Francisco 49ers t-shirt, blue jeans, blue down hooded jacket, and hiking boots.

He left his home (half-mile from school) walking to Lemmon Valley Elementary School but deviated south on Fremont Street/Way, where a witness saw him talking to an unknown person in a rusted small vehicle (possibly Ford Pinto or Camaro) in a cul-de-sac. The case is classified as non-family abduction cold case.
