Case Details:On September 26, 2000, skeletal remains were located in a wooded area in the 5300 block of Commerce Road, Richmond VA. The decedent was found by a construction crew working in the area and was lying face down on the ground. Upon examination, it was determined the decedent was a black male between the ages of 50 to 70 years old and estimated to be 5 foot 4 inches to 5 foot 11 inches in height and had black hair with some gray noted . He had peg shaped lateral maxillary incisors as well as enamel hypoplasias (smaller than usual teeth) present on incisors and canines of both the maxilla and mandible. He was wearing a large Northwest Territory jacket, a gray sweatshirt with no label, an extra-large blue or gray Tultex sweatshirt, Britches brand black denim jeans (size 32 waist, 33 inseam), white Fruit of the Loom briefs (size small 30-32), a black or brown leather belt (size not noted), and black leather Oxford shoes (size 12). .
