Rachel Lucille Cyriacks, 30, of Woonsocket, South Dakota, was reported missing after she disappeared on November 13, 2013. According to cell-phone records, Rachel was at her temporary job at Performance Pet Products in Mitchell that morning, then drove her gray 1995 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck (South Dakota plate 4CH634) to Huron, where she picked up her husband, Bradley "Brad" Cyriacks, who was being released from a Sanborn County jail stay stemming from a Halloween-night domestic assault. Brad told investigators Rachel drove them briefly to their Woonsocket home before driving him back to Huron and dropping him at a friend's house; he says that was the last time he saw her. She has not been seen or heard from since. Rachel is white, 5'5", 130–140 pounds, with dark blonde/sandy-brown hair (possibly with blonde highlights) and hazel eyes. She has a dimple on her right cheek, surgical scars on her abdomen, and several tattoos: the name "Brad"/"Bradley" in black script on the left side of her neck, a blue Playboy Bunny logo on her left hip, a black tribal-style heart on her lower back, and red flowers, stars, a tree, and the initials "RJ" on her right forearm. A green, pink, and white quilt Rachel cherished disappeared from her home at the same time she did.
The case is being investigated by the Huron Police Department and Sanborn County Sheriff's Office, with the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation and Attorney General's Office also involved. In December 2013/January 2014, Rachel's pickup was located on a bee farm near Huron owned by the family of the friend Brad said dropped him off; the truck had severe undercarriage damage and was inoperable. Two months before her disappearance, Rachel had filed for a temporary protective order against Brad, citing domestic abuse; investigators have named him a suspect, but he has not been charged. In April 2014, Rachel's home was vandalized by unknown persons. Searches have continued for over a decade, including a November 2023 search of the James River near Huron that recovered items still under analysis. Authorities believe Rachel is deceased.
