Case Details:On November 10, 1988, in Ruther Glen, Caroline County, Virginia, hunters found the partial skeletal remains of a male decedent and of an older male (UP6507) together in woods off VA I-95. DNA testing indicated a possible parent-child relationship. Both are wearing new clothes. Interval between date of death and date found is approximately 2-10 months. The decedent is estimated to be White/Hispanic and 17 - 25 years old. Clothes: blue t-shirt with wide bands of two shades of gray (v-neck, short sleeve, Traxs active wear) size large (16-18), 50% polyester Blue denim pants with "Rustler" label, waist 30", inseam 28", cuffs folded under, style number 89681; Red and black size 8 1/2 D cowboy boots, new.
