Case Details:On March 28, 2015, partial skeletal remains of an unidentified white male, estimated to be 40–65 years old and approximately 5’2” to 5’7” tall, were discovered in a creek bed/drainage area near the intersection of 25th Street and Pacific Avenue in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Forensic examination indicates the individual likely died between 2013 and 2014, based on an estimated 12–18 months from death to discovery. Notable physical characteristics include healed fractures in the left shoulder (two places), left fibula (mid-lower leg), and nasal bone, resulting in a crooked nose, as well as an edentulous maxilla (no upper teeth). Items found with the remains include black sweatpants, jockstrap underwear, two socks, a pair of boots, a plastic cellophane wrapper, a cigarette filter, labeled candy fragments, a blue button, and a piece of plastic.
