Rosa Linda Zuniga was found deceased by a hiker on a hillside near the intersection of Larkin Valley Road and Highway 1. Rosa had previously been reported missing by her family. Her last confirmed sighting occurred at her place of employment in San Jose on July 10, 1971. She reportedly intended to hitchhike from there to her family’s residence in Watsonville.
