Missing or Unidentified Person
Neva Jane Findley, who went by her middle name Jane, was last seen in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 1, 2011. At the time of her disappearance, Ms. Findley was a 72-year-old white female, between 5'4" and 5'6" tall, and weighing between 120 and 130 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes, and wears glasses.
Ms. Lindley was last seen cashing out her financial assets and was going to travel in an RV with a man she met online. The man, Robert Carnochan, was arrested on April 13, 2016 for fraudulent schemes and artifices, theft, forgery, and theft of a credit card.
At the time of his arrest, police located Ms. Lindley's ID and other possessions as well as those of another missing woman (Nancy Hartz) in his house in Yucca, Arizona. After his conviction, investigators discovered Carnochan was the last person seen with Nancy Hartz, Neva Findley, and a third missing woman, Verna Clayton.
On December 15, 2020, the skeletal remains of Nancy Hartz who found him via an online dating website and cashed out all her final assets were found near Topock, Arizona. Carnochan died on September 25, 2020 in prison, before he could be charged with murder.
Neva and Verna have not been found and are presumed to be deceased.
