On April 9, 1953, in Ophelia, Virginia, the remains of a white male were found in a field trap in the Chesapeake Bay. It appears he had been in the water for several days. At the time, it was suspected that he was a fisherman, sailor, or merchant marine. He was estimated to be between the ages of 45-60 years old, stood 5'6'' tall, and weighed between 175-180lbs.
