Case Details:On December 13, 2024, at approximately 7:00 p.m., partial skeletal remains of an unidentified adult female were discovered in a marshy area of Tarrollton Park, located in the 2100 block of Helsley Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia. The Norfolk Police Department responded to the scene and has classified the investigation as an undetermined death, with the cause and manner of death pending further analysis by the medical examiner. Forensic examination determined that the decedent was a White or Caucasian woman (possibly of mixed ancestry), estimated to be under 60 years old and most likely between 30 and 55 years of age, with a height ranging from 5 feet 0 inches to 5 feet 6 inches. The remains were clothed in black or blue Jordans-brand pants (size 14P), black LilSimone Footwear boots, and black socks. No additional personal effects, jewelry, tattoos, or other distinguishing features have been publicly reported.
