Agency:NCOUC - Group 3
Case Type:Missing or Unidentified Person
Case Details:On October 9, 2018, skeletal remains of an unidentified Caucasian male, estimated to be in his late 30s to early 50s, were discovered in a wooded area behind a shopping complex in the 4700 block of King Street, Alexandria, Virginia, near NOVA Community College. The individual, referred to as Alexandria John Doe, was approximately 5’11” tall with a barrel-chested build and a prominent chin. Distinctive features include a history of open-heart surgery, possibly with a pacemaker, a previously broken nose, fused vertebrae causing restricted mobility and a possible hunched posture, and evidence of obvious dental reconstruction. The remains are believed to have been deceased for 1-2 years prior to discovery. Evidence also suggests the individual may have been a smoker.
