Missing or Unidentified Person

On February 3, 1991 in Winchester, Virginia, bike riders found a partially decomposed body under brush, leaves and rocks in a vacant lot off Timber Ridge Trail. This location is in the Shawnee land subdivision. The victim was unrecognizable but, upon examination of the decedent, it was determined forensically to be that of a white female, between the ages of 20 to 39 years old, 5 foot 3 inches and 5 foot 6 inches tall, and weighing between 114 to 135 pounds. It was estimated that she had been deceased for two months, placing her death around December of 1990. The decedent had long strawberry/blonde hair and was wearing a black short sleeve knit sweater, rust colored tank top, khaki shorts, and panties. The decedent is known as Winchester Jane Doe.
