Missing or Unidentified Person

Sherry Lynn Yates, a 29-year-old white woman with red hair and brown eyes, disappeared from Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 12, 1981. She was last seen dropping off a female friend from her car and driving away.

Her vehicle was subsequently found abandoned east of the city. She stood about 5 foot 1 inches to 5 foot 4 inches tall and weighed 118 to 140 pounds, with a star tattoo on her right hand. At the time, she wore a gold wedding band, gold chain necklaces, and Harley Davidson wing-shaped earrings. Limited information is available for her case.
