Missing or Unidentified Person

Anique "Nikki" Beauregard (also known as Nikki Knox), originally from Utah and living in Northern Nevada, disappeared on August 31, 2019, during a day trip to Lake Mead National Recreation Area east of Las Vegas, Nevada. The 5-foot-6-inch, 120-pound white female with long reddish-brown hair past her shoulders and brown eyes was last seen around 11:30 a.m. near East Lake Mead Boulevard and Pabco Road. She was wearing a white (or black, per varying reports) bikini-style bathing suit with pink accents, flip-flops, and possibly a swim cover-up. Surveillance footage from a nearby Shell gas station captured Nikki and her boyfriend, Eric Covington, together as they left in a black pickup truck towing two Wave Runners (jet skis). Roughly five miles past the station, Eric received a phone call reminding him to fuel the jet skis. According to his account, he made a U-turn that caused one of the jet skis to shift, so he pulled over briefly to secure the straps. At that point, Nikki walked away from the vehicle on foot, leaving her phone, purse, and cigarettes behind in the truck. The temperature that day reached a scorching 109°F. Approximately 22 minutes after their initial stop at the Shell station, Eric returned alone. Eric Covington has been interviewed by police multiple times and has reportedly passed several polygraph examinations. Extensive searches have been conducted along the route she may have taken, including the area toward the Lake Mead admission gate, which was about 3.5 miles from the last known location. Nikki remains missing.
