Missing or Unidentified Person

Richard Edward Cambria, a 59-year-old white male at the time of his disappearance, left his home in Manahawkin, Stafford Township, New Jersey in July 2018 for a trip west to Nevada. He is described as 5 foot 8 inches tall, weighing 175 to 220 pounds, with brown eyes, slightly balding gray hair, and sometimes wearing gold-rimmed glasses. Identifying features include scars behind both ears, a two-inch scar under his left armpit, and a crowned/fake front tooth (#9). He had been staying at the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks, Nevada. On November 13, 2018, surveillance video captured him checking out of the hotel, wearing blue jeans, a light blue jacket, and gray shoes. This is the last confirmed sighting of him. His family’s last direct contact with him was a text message on July 16, 2018. On November 25, 2018, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office notified them that his vehicle, a 2014 metallic silver BMW X5 with New Jersey plates, had been found parked and abandoned along Mt. Rose Highway near the Tahoe Meadows trailhead (close to Incline Village and Lake Tahoe). The SUV contained all of his luggage and his fully charged cell phone. Despite searches of the area, no trace of Richard has been found.
