Opal Marie Parsons, an 81-year-old White female, was last seen on August 30, 2007, in the 100 block of Sir David Way, Las Vegas, Nevada. She was 5 foot 4 inches tall, 125 pounds, with gray hair dyed blonde and brown eyes.
She had double-pierced ears, abdominal surgical scars (hysterectomy/colon), previously broken arm, and wore an upper denture plate. Possibly last seen in a floor-length silky black and tan robe with abstract designs, diamond/ruby ring, and heavy gold chain with gold nugget/diamond pendant.
Last seen at home by daughter at ~5:00 a.m.; planned lunch but vanished by 2:00 p.m. when daughter returned.
Her van was found at the residence with keys inside and her purse missing. Investigators were alerted when her ATM card was used the next day at Sam's Town Casino. Investigators located the person, verified the purse was found in the trash, along with a cell phone. This case is classified as an Endangered Missing Person with foul play suspected.
