Victoria Ann “Vickey” Shoupe, also known as Vickey A. Denitson or Vickey Anne Warner, a 30-year-old white female, went missing on May 19, 1984, from Carson City, Douglas County, Nevada (Stateline/South Shore Lake Tahoe area). She was 5'4", 135 lbs, with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes. No specific tattoos, scars, or clothing from last sighting have been shard publicly to date.
After work at Douglas Properties in Stateline, she met a friend for drinks at John’s Tahoe Nugget casino around 5:30 p.m., left in good spirits heading home to her Kingsbury Grade condominium where she and her husband were last seen having an argument. He didn't report her missing; the friend did three days later.
Shoupe's sudden disappearance was deemed suspicious due to her strong family ties to Florida and Sacramento and most alarming that she left behind an 18-month-old son and prescription medications. Three weeks after her disappearance a search warrant for their condo was issued and investigators entered the property. Steven Shoupe was arrested on unrelated charges and released later on $1,500 bail. .
This case is classified as an Endangered Missing Person presumed homicide.
