Case Details:On June 20, 1977, in Hampton, Virginia, a decomposing body was found on the water bank. No obvious signs of acute trauma. The decedent is a white male about 50 - 65 years old. The estimated time of death was one week prior to being found. He had a scar from an old gunshot wound: 1 3/4" above and 1/2" anterior to the right external auditory opening.
