Case Details:Damion Lamont West was found murdered on the early morning of July 9, 2009 at the 4800 block of Burnt Oak Drive in the Ivywalk apartment community. Law enforcement arrived on scene at approximately 4:22 a.m. to find Mr. West bloodied and deceased body lying on the ground at an outdoor fence area near the community retention pond. At the time of his death, Mr. West was employed as an unarmed civilian security guard for the American Security Group which contracted with the Ivywalk Apartments.
