Case Details:On December 5, 2020, at approximately 3:52 p.m., the Martinsville-Henry County 911 Center received a report of a deceased individual found in a field near 977 John Baker Rd., Fieldale, Virginia. Deputies from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded and discovered a black male, approximately 40 to 60 years old, 6 feet tall, weighing 307 pounds, with black hair, male pattern baldness, a mustache, and brown eyes. The victim, dressed in a gray t-shirt, gray pants, and black boots, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office for the Western District confirmed the death as a homicide. Despite extensive efforts, including DNA analysis and a nationwide inquiry, no identifying information has been found, and the victim remains unidentified.
