Bill Dwayne Wheeler Sr., also known as Bill Wheeler, was a 50-year-old White male who was last seen on May 26, 2010, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He stood between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighed 180–210 pounds, and had brown hair, blue eyes, a possible mustache, and a pierced left ear. Wheeler had several distinguishing physical features, including multiple tattoos: an eagle on his upper left arm, a devil on his left forearm, the name "Bill" on his upper right arm, and an Army Airborne design featuring a heart with a dagger through it, accented by a wreath and flower elements. He also had noticeable scars on his chin, chest (from burns), abdomen (from unknown surgery), and forearm (from chemotherapy). At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a long-sleeved dark blue button-down shirt, black slacks, a high-value gold chain with a St. Michael medallion, a gold eagle ring with a black background, and either designer shoes or cowboy boots. He habitually carried a black briefcase. Due to being color-blind and nearsighted, combined with an old eye injury from a nail, he required special eyewear and was unable to wear contact lenses. Wheeler had flown from Everett, Washington, to Las Vegas to retrieve his gold 2003 Toyota Tundra pickup truck (Washington license plate B06035B) and an espresso machine from his estranged wife Carol’s home in the Spring Valley area. He was handling both business and personal matters on the evening of May 26 and had planned to drive the truck back to Washington. However, he vanished that night. His truck was later found deliberately burned on May 29, 2010, near Quarry and Puma Roads in Victorville, California, with the espresso machine still inside. The case is classified as endangered missing with suspicious circumstances.
